Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission is to Help Homeless and At-Risk Youth
We are dedicated to transforming the streets of San Diego by reaching at-risk youth with the love of Christ. Through mentorship, homeless services, and faith-based guidance, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where young lives are restored, and futures are rebuilt. Grounded in biblical values, we empower youth to break cycles, discover their God-given purpose, and become leaders of change in their communities. Our mission is to create lasting transformation—one life at a time. Our goal is to empower the youth to stand firm in their faith, overcome adversity, and become leaders who positively impact their communities, creating a future of restoration, healing, and hope.
Restoration Ringside
Adrian Vargas is an advocate for youth experiencing homelessness. Through his ministry, Restoration Ringside, He works to empower homeless and at-risk youth through a combination of boxing, faith-based principles, and the HITS curriculum (Honor, Integrity, Tenacity, Sacrifice). It focuses on holistic development, building character, self-confidence, and providing a supportive environment to help these youth overcome challenges and find a positive path forward.
Scott Miner is a living testament to the transformative power of faith and redemption. Once entrenched in a life of the street, Scott has worked with various agencies aimed at ending homelessness and is now dedicating his life to ending the cycle of homelessness for our youth. Scott’s journey to Christ radically changed the course of his life. Today, he stands as the President and Founder of Restoring San Diego, where he leads efforts to bring healing and hope to the broken. As a Bible teacher and the creator of The Freedom Series, a Christ-centered drug rehab curriculum, Scott is dedicated to empowering individuals to break free from their past. His commitment to engaging the urban culture of San Diego has resulted in real, lasting change, demonstrating that with Christ, no one is beyond restoration.
Adrian Vargas is a powerful example of transformation through Christ. Once caught in the grip of gang life and addiction, Adrian’s encounter with Jesus changed everything. Now a professional boxer, union carpenter for local 619, and the Vice President of Restoring San Diego, Adrian channels his passion for faith and change into Restoration Ringside, a faith-based boxing program designed to help homeless and at-risk youth stay away from gangs and fight for a better future. In honor of his late brother, Albert Vargas, who tragically passed away from a fentanyl overdose, Adrian has integrated Albert’s H.I.T.S. curriculum—Honor, Integrity, Tenacity, and Sacrifice—into the core values of Restoration Ringside. This ministry is making a lasting impact, helping young people rise above their circumstances and find strength in faith.
